The Spit Sponges are by far the best way to quickly dry out any and all tone holes!
Serious musicians and newcomers alike should consider Key Leaves products for the longevity of their instruments. I highly recommend Key Leaves, Spit Sponge, and GapCap.
The Spit Sponge is a great replacement for the dollar bill. It is environmentally friendly and effective, with the two textures being gentle on the instrument but effective at cleaning the tone hole/pad.
After years of using cigarette paper or just blowing the water out of my pads, I finally tried the Spit Sponge, and it's awesome! Whether I'm on stage, in a pit, or in the studio, nobody wants to hear rustling cigarette paper.
The Spit Sponge allows me to keep my pads clean and dry with no obnoxious noises, and it's super gentle on my pads! I also have the Key Leaves for my saxes, and it keeps them playing great! I also have the Key Leaves for my saxes, and it keeps them playing great!
Spit Sponge is an amazing product... also got the Key Leaves!!! Awesome resource. Loooved it all the way.
The Key Leaves Sax Key Props and Spit Sponge attracted me to the brand! No more sticking G#/low C#, or moisture collection on the low Eb. The Spit Sponge is great product as well - certainly better than a dirty dollar bill or paper that rips. Rulon has great creativity and ingenuity. He is doing amazing work in coming up with useful innovations for the saxophone, and other instruments as well!
