Description
Travel lite. Travel clean. Play clear. The Key Leaves woodwind reed guard helps you safely hold four reeds in a light-weight case that is ultra flat and can be taken apart for a quick cleaning. The minimalist design is everything you need and nothing you don't.
New reeds often come packed in flexible paper sleeves or warped plastic cases that provide poor long-term storage. This reed guard stores your clarinet and saxophone reeds on an ultra-flat surface so they dry flat and play better, longer.
We got frustrated using saxophone reed cases that can't be cleaned, and we hate it when bulky reed holders clank around inside the instrument case. So we designed the Key Leaves reed case to be minimalist - very thin, light weight, super flat, easy to clean, and made from non-marring material that won't scratch up a horn if it accidentally gets loose inside the case.
Safe and strong, this reed case is made from a rugged glass alternative and FDA grade o-rings that are often used in industrial food processing machines.
Lifetime Guarantee - This reed guard is built to last!
Standard Size fits clarinet, alto saxophone, and soprano sax reeds
Large Size fits tenor sax, baritone sax, and bass clarinet reeds
Bass Saxophone Size available by special order
Artist Reviews
The Minimalist Reed Guard, along with Key Leaves' other exceptional products, epitomizes simplicity, functionality, and innovative design. As a longtime user of their products, I can attest to their commitment to excellence. They all ensure the longevity of your instrument and allow musicians to continue loving what they do.
I honestly love the new reed guards! They're working great and have actually caused me to change my reed care routine. Love how compact they are.
I really like the reed guard design. The fact that it’s very compact and can easily fit anywhere is a game changer for me. With my instrument cases being slimmer with less storage space, your reed guards easily fit into my Hiscox and Wiseman cases without taking up much space.
Other things I like about the reed guard include the fact that they’re washable, have sturdy bands for holding the reeds in place, and keep them perfectly flat.
Love them!! They hold the reeds securely, cleanly, and clearly.
These reed guards are amazing! They are durable, easy to clean and they are the perfect size! I keep them in a Pelican 1010 Micro Case and they fit perfectly... I’ve used my older La Voz aluminum reed guards for several years and these work so much better.
