"I love it! I got both the carbon fiber and gold plated [RULON sax rests], have played with them on two 3 hour gigs and felt great! It felt sort of liberating in some sense, and my right hand is much more relaxed while playing." - Luis Hernandez (Latin Grammy Award Winning Jazz Saxophonist, Composer, Educator)
Luis Hernandez has performed with Afrobop Alliance, a Latin jazz group that won a Grammy for Best Latin Jazz Album of the year and was nominated for two Grammy® awards in 2008 for their recording, “Caribbean Jazz Project/Afrobop Alliance.”
Hernandez was also a semi-finalist in the Thelonious Monk International Jazz Saxophone Competition in 2002.
