MAGA and Trump Forcing Price Increases

Dear Musicians and Music Stores,

I held Key Leaves prices steady for the last two years during a time of great inflation. Before that I dropped prices during the pandemic to help players, music schools, and music stores hit extremely hard by Covid disruption. Sadly and predictably, the new MAGA trade war and MAGA abuse of U.S. allies has raised raw material costs while weakening international demand for USA made products. Because of this, I must increase some prices. These are targeted and minimal increases to a select few products. I hope to hold steady as long as I can moving forward. 
 
I urge you to lobby your neighbors and civic leaders for smarter U.S. behavior before MAGA further weakens the tiny music products industry that relies intimately on international supply chains for tooling, materials, packaging, and distribution of the music gear we all love and rely on.

The U.S. must stop attacking trusted partners in Canada, Mexico and Europe. These are longtime strategic allies and trading partners who play by the rule of international law. The new MAGA trade taxes are hurting small family businesses like Key Leaves and many others like it around the world.
