Kyle Bramson is a New York–based jazz saxophonist and professional woodwind repair technician dedicated to the pursuit of great sound. Originally from Miami, his musical foundation was shaped by the city’s rich cultural and rhythmic influence before continuing his studies at Florida State University receiving both degrees in Jazz Performance and Professional Sales.

As a full-time saxophone repair technician at JL Woodwinds he restores, overhauls, and customizes instruments for professional and aspiring musicians alike. His approach is rooted in careful regulation, tonal balance, and acoustic integrity — guided by the understanding that an instrument must not only function flawlessly, but inspire confidence on the bandstand. With the perspective of an active performer, he approaches each instrument as a living extension of the player’s voice.

As a jazz musician grounded in the straight-ahead tradition, Kyle values depth of tone, swing feel, and melodic clarity. His playing reflects discipline, respect for lineage, and a continual pursuit of refinement. He has performed and continues to balance performance with his work at the bench.
