INSTRUCTIONS - Baritone Saxophone Cleaning Swab
How to clean your bari saxophone using the BARINANA™ saxophone swab from Key Leaves

⚠️ WARNING: This swab is different than other swabs. Read all instructions before use!
- Remove the baritone sax neck and place the fabric ball end of the swab into the large end of the neck tube and push the swab forward and back to clean the neck.
- Store the neck inside your saxophone case.
- Place the bullet-shaped tip inside the neck socket of the bari sax body as shown below. Then gently push the swab into the bari body tube until a small portion remains as shown. Then gently pull out the swab.
NOTE: If the water key of your bari sax is so large it prevents the bullet guide to insert, use the cloth end to insert.
- Coil the swab for storage inside tight cases, or simply lay it flat inside the case.
- As needed, hand wash your swab with hand soap and water. Air dry for 24 hours before next use.
How to replace the DriFit Ripstop fabric on your bari saxophone swab
- Contact us to order any replacement parts you want for your swab.
- Use a 3mm Hex Wrench (allen wrench) to loosen the bullet tip screw.
- Notice, the screw is now loose and may fall out if you are not careful.
- Remove the bullet tip.
- Remove the flex shaft from inside the fabric wrap and discard the fabric wrap.
- Insert the flex shaft ball end into the new fabric wrap.
- Stretch the fabric past the end of the flex shaft and hold it as shown.
- Place the bullet tip over the fabric and flex shaft as shown.
- Tighten the screw back into the bullet tip.
- Gently tighten the screw until it is just below the surface of the plastic bullet tip.
- Your swab is refreshed and good to go!
